Dr. Brooks Saunders DC
Dr. Brooks Saunders was born in Key West, Florida and presently resides in Winter Park.
Dr. Brooks choose Chiropractic as his profession after this father was relieved of a serious low back injury through Chiropractic care. He received his bachelors of science from Elmira College in New York and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College in Florida. He is presently studying for his board certification in nutrition.
As a college athlete and later as a soccer player an marathon runner he developed an appreciation of the human body and focus in sports medicine. He presently also holds advanced certifications as a sports physician and a CSCS in strength and conditioning.
Dr. Brooks uses a functional movement approach, combining chiropractic adjustments of the spine and extremities with soft tissue rehabilitative protocols to discover and treat the underlying causes of dis-ease. Through the development and improvement of balanced movement patterns, he is able to make a correction, reduce the risk of re-injury and improve overall future performance.
Dr. Brooks spends his free time running in half marathons and other athletic sports, cooking, reading and most of all, time with family and friends.
